Yum this morning we went to Auntie Berta's to do some Swiss Baking. We made a blueberry sponge cake (blueberries in quark and mascarpone wrapped up in sponge) and we made a carrot cake - it was very different to our recipe. After we took the bus then train to Zürich. In Zürich we met our Aunty Sylvia and her grandson Etienne-Gabriel. We had a coffee with them. We took the tram to the Zurich Zoo.

At the zoo we saw the Madagascar park where we were inside the cage with monkeys and birds and lizards . We saw the elephants and orangutan a and lions as well. In the elephant house we saw one big elephant with tusks, another big one without tusks and two young ones, one was a baby. The Elephant house was new and the elephants could go outside, for s swim or inside - it looked a nice natural habitat. We really liked the orang-utans because they were so much like humans.

After the zoo we said goodbye to Aunty Silvia then took the train back to Greifensee.
