Cliffs of Moher

Crag, Munster, Ireland
All 5 of us (Julia and me, Tamara and her Dublin friends) rode in a car across Ireland (literally from coast to coast!) to Cliffs of Moher. We saw tons of cows and sheep on the way, even stopped to touch some, but the sheep are too wary of people to come close :) We stopped near the town of Lehinch, where some crazy people were swimming in Atlantic Ocean, some wearing wetsuits, some (even crazier) wearing only swimming suits.

When we arrived to the cliffs, the sun was already setting, so we were treated to the majestic view of 200-meter cliffs dropping into the ocean, with waves crashing far below . To make the experience complete, we scaled the parapets separating (supposedly) tourists from certain death and stared down from the top of the cliffs.

After a stroll along the edge of the cliffs, we went back to the car and drove off in search of a place to spend the night. Eventually we found a nice Bed & Breakfast place, run by a nice lady, who let us in a family room at a family rate (much lower than regular).

Not only are the sheep wary of people, but also they're surrounded by fences everywhere :(

Yes, we got the family rate for 2 adults & 3 children %)
