Plan was to do the St Mary Falls hike. Got up early to get into park before 6am.
Light rain, low clouds. Only one other car in trailhead parking lot for the St. Mary Falls hike. 48 degrees, 25 mph winds. Waited a bit but the weather didn't get any better. Decided not to hike in this kind of weather. Drove up the Going-to-the-Sun road a bit to Jackson Glacier Overlook; horrible views with the low clouds and rain.
Went back to the campground to see about getting more days here since the end of the week is supposed to be sunny. No vacancies; however, later in the day got an extra 2 nights in the same spot. Yea!

TWO MEDICINE Valley is in the southeast corner of Glacier National Park and is much less visited than other parts of the park. Beautiful drive, even on this cloudy day, with dramatic views of the mountains surrounding the lake. On a good day, great mountain reflections in the lake. Walked along the south shore, which was very windy and chilly today in the late afternoon.
Dinner with our friends at their campsite in Glacier Meadow RV Park. Wally and Maribel made a delicious dinner of palomilla steak, marinated chicken, rice/beans. Just like our get togethers during the summers in the Keys, except the temperature is a bit different. Great evening!
