Checked with our cousins who left from Michigan and couldn't believe we were within 10 miles of each other on I-40. Stopped at a rest area to have lunch together. Fun times ahead as we will be traveling together for the next two weeks.

Cadillac Ranch is right by the RV Park. Of course, had to put our artistic touch on the cars.

Can't come to Texas without having barbeque. Lots of recommendations to go to Tyler's for their ribs. Unfortunately, they just sold out when we arrived at 6:00. Dyer's was also highly rated so off we went. Definitely did not live up to their reputation. The ribs were dry, polish sausage too mushy, pulled pork too full of sauce; however, the onion rings were fantastic. Would definitely not go back here again.

 Ended the evening by going to Braum's for one of their yummy sundaes; can't beat this place.

 Sure was a fun first day together with our cousins!
