                           Adventurous Antelope Canyon Photo Tour
"The name Antelope Canyon comes from an era when antelopes ran wild in the canyons, but the only animals you’ll see these days are other human beings--hundreds per day."
Yet, the amazing pictures and beauty of the canyon were one of the reasons for this trip to the southwest. A cousin recommended this company so made reservations for the photo tour of Upper Antelope about a week in advance.
While waiting for the tour, Melody, who works for the tour co, informed us there was an accident blocking the Antelope Canyon road, and we can't go for 4 hours. Panic since the light rays only appear for a short time. As we were driving back to Page, Melody called to come back. She drove us the back way (great off-roading experience) to meet up with the photo tour already there.
MacArthur was the guide with 8 of us on the tour. Awestruck at the incredible beauty of this 600-foot canyon with walls rising 120 feet above the floor.
Tossing sand so the light reflected off the particles made for some amazing pictures. Mac would keep doing this until the group was satisfied with their pictures. He really did a great job of stopping people at both ends to keep them from coming into our shots. Hordes of people constantly coming through. About five tour companies bringing 20-40 people through every 15 min. Too bad because it sort of ruins the experience of enjoying such an amazingly beautiful place. Understandable why so many people want to see it.

Mac was able to give us the opportunity to capture unbelievable pictures of this spectacular place. Incomparable beauty!
Especially loved the flute playing he and another guide did throughout the tour.

Photo tour is the only way to see this.
Mac and Melody really cared about making sure people had a great experience.
Highly recommend this company.
Tip--Must be able to shoot in very low light and sometimes straight up in the air.
Good tripod a must.
