Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, United States
Drove back down Hwy-98 to Cameron; then Hwy- 64 to the West Entrance--about a two-hour drive.
Our cousins wanted to see Grand Canyon, and it's been 20 years since we've been here.
Luckily, we were able to get reservations over Labor Day weekend--after daily phone calls to check availability.
TRAILER VILLAGE CAMPGROUND - 4 nights
Perfect location inside the park. Paved site with grass and picnic table. Full hookups
Elk at the end of the road when we arrived.
Frequent sightings throughout the park of elk and mule deer.

Enjoyed the picnic lunches/dinners together; even grilled lobster for our cousin's 66th birthday.
Weather great for sightseeing--low 70's during the day
Sprinkled on/off one day, and rained entire afternoon another day.
