Angels' Palace Trail:  Near the campground the 1.5-mile trail winds through a small canyon and gradually up 150 feet above the basin floor for unsurpassed panoramic views.

Perfect place for watching the sun set. Didn't think it would be a very good because of the clouds. Turned out fantastic with the constantly changing colors! At one point, all the clouds in the entire 360 degree sky view were pink. Kept staying and staying to watch the changes. Barely made it back down the trail to the bottom before it got too dark to see.

 

What a great way to end our stay in this incredible place..  

So much to do and the best campground!!!
