Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Sun is out, yea! Perfect temperature. Didn't wake up until 6:00--ten hours of sleeping. That's a first.
The Rocks for breakfast at one of the bakeries we saw yesterday on George Street--"Bakers Oven" Great spot with café tables along street and a view of bridge--chocolate croissant, apple muffin, two coffees ($30 a bit much; better to eat continental breakfast at hotel).

TOUR: Interesting information about Utzon's architectural design representing Sydney's cliffs and sails. Video about how it was built--10 sails, problems, materials. Toured the different theaters and concert hall. Impressive Pipe Organ, world's largest mechanical tracker-action. Purchased tickets for musical tonight in the large theater.
Guylian Seashell Chocolates with hazelnut praline filling (concierge said these will change your life). They are very good; not so sure about life changing.
Phillip St Food Court for lunch
Costi's fish/chips--two dinners and drinks $21 (best buy in town; excellent food!)

Botanical Gardens
 - Palm Grove area.
Since the gardens are right across the street, walked different parts almost every day.
Bar Luca dinner--pulled pork (a bit spicy), burger, fantastic onion rings.
Opera House Musical Concert:  "Diamonds Are For Trevor."
Shirley Bassey impersonator celebrating 80 years of her songs (many Bond movie theme songs; Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger, etc). Fantastic orchestra in the beautifully staged theater. Lots of great songs; not impressed with the singing. What a crazy crowd; they loved the guy and his Aussie jokes, which we really didn't get. Really neat to be in the theater we saw during the tour getting ready for tonight's performance.
