Sunday is Family Fun Day; maximum cost on any government transportation is $2.50--what a deal! Kept hoping for a nice day to tour on the ferry. No such luck; getting used to the cloudy, rainy days.

Took half hour; sprinkling; second level front--great views.
Lots of shops along the walk to the beach.
Spent the morning watching surfers; international competition today.
Nice beach boardwalk to Marine Parade Lookout. Fun watching four young boys playing in the rocky surf. Sunday Market with local artists crafts.

Nice young man on ferry called for lunch reservations at the famous Doyl's on the Beach; said to just come. Ate at the sit down restaurant, which is much more expensive, and of course nicer, than the take out place at the pier.
Entrée (we call appetizer): Stuffed Prawns sounded really good (they were just ok). Snapper Fish/Chips with chili plum sauce (really good). Both of us thought the fish at Christie's in the food court was better.

Great spot for pictures of bridge and opera house.
Didn't get off; continued to Darling Harbor.
Not much here but restaurants and harbor cruise boats. Didn't stay long. Ferry back to Circular Quay.
