A bit on the slow side today; either a cold or something else has caused Lois to have totally stuffed sinus headache. Temperature 78-89; like Florida in the summer--very hot and humid.

Short walk from cruise port to town. The Esplanade area is very large with a nice boardwalk all along the beach, craft tents, and great park areas for picnicking. No swimming in the ocean here. The community pool is enormous; a huge man-made lagoon. A very popular place with lots of people enjoying this park.

Enjoyed spending time talking with a couple that lives here. The man never stopped talking; lots of interesting info about the development of the area.

On way back walked through Casino; cool entry with a reef movie on the floor and up a huge column; rooftop for city views. Not feeling great; long afternoon nap.
