Kampung Komoto is a town we saw along the way that looked beautiful.
Anchored in Slawi Bay.
Almost immediately children in small boats came next to ship yelling for money, which was continuous all day.

KOMODO DRAGONS (2 hrs)
Ship's tender to the Komodo National Park's Loh Liang Ranger Station.
Guide, assistant, and park ranger led our group of around 20 people to see the fabled Komodo Dragon, the largest lizard on earth. Instructions by the guide about how to observe them safely since they have been known to attack people. A dragon bite could be fatal because of the 60 different kinds of bacteria in their mouth. To protect anyone from getting bit, the guides are there with a stick--a stick, really! Thankfully, the Dragon's main source of food is deer and wild pigs that live on the island. Almost immediately saw two dragons lying in sand; not so vicious looking when sleeping.

Nice path through thick forest. History lesson along the way about the dragons. Disappointed that he didn't explain anything about the vegetation or birds in the park. Kind of hurried along the trail so it was difficult to stop and take pictures.
Saw baby Dragon in a tree, where they live so their parents won't eat them.
The highlight was the three Dragons by a water hole. One got up and gave us a look at its vicious mouth (or maybe it was a yawn); then it walked, flicking its tongue, and hissing.
Ominous-looking creature with its sharp, saw-like teeth and menacing eyes that seem to be sizing you up. Seems like you're looking back to the age of the dinosaur.
SOMETHING WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!
The end of the trail leads through the bazaar building. The people selling their products are quite aggressive in trying to get us tourists to purchase their goods.
