Here we have a little cabin – and a pool. And lucky for Paul not only fridge but also a freezer, and an outdoor area with outdoor kitchen. Since its sunny and warm – we went to enjoy a dip in the pool first – what you need to wear a bath cap… ok so maybe the water is not that appealing.

Leaning Tower of Pisa on the Piazza Del Duomo or Square of Miracles
- It's a campanile: or bell tower of the cathedral – it’s famous because it’s leaning
- The tower tilt began during construction, because of inadequate foundation on to soft ground. The tilt increased until the tower got stabilized in 1990. The tower is 55.86 m high on one side and 56.67 m high on the other side. With an original angle of 5.5 it now has an angle of 3.99 degrees
- They began building it in 1173 – when it start sinking when they were at the 2nd floor they stopped in 1178. In 1272 they continued and hoping to compensate with building one side taller than the other – they stopped again in 1284. It finally got completed in 1319.
- In 2001 after they straightened the tower and stabilized it, they declared it stable for the next 300 years
- the Dumo built 1064 made of marble and the Baptistery 1153 – is the largest in Italy

A short walk away and then we came to the city wall with lots of souvenir shops… and we went in to the place of wonders: It is so amazing, wonderful, gorgeous – definitely incredible. All the shining Mable of the the Pabtisterium, the dome and then the leaning tower – I love it.
Sure like every good tourist we made a picture with Paul holding up the leaning tower. And with a lovely ristorante – what’s better than having spaghetti and pizza with view on the leaning tower. And let’s not forget the Italian ice-cream.
And we had to look and see the sun setting on the leaning tower. And seeing it up at night.

Next morning before exploring cute Pisa we had to quick check out the leaning tower. We went through some cute narrow streets and ended up again at the Arno River walking along the promenade enjoying the view up and down – we saw the Santa Maria del Spina, some amazing buildings, plazas… and then in Pisa if you want to shop and bargain, you’re at the right place: how about a Rolex? … But let’s not forget we had to leave our cabin so we hurried back – packed and back at the bargaining… so we left owning know a real Rolex (?) and a leaning tower.
Time to leave the leaning tower and go on towards the coast
