Whistler - Green Lake Following the sun
This year we discovered we have to follow the sun: so every morning and evening we check the weather for the next day: if the weather is nice where we are – we can stay another day – if it’s rainy here but not rainy on route: then we continue on. So in the end we continued on a whole lot… so a lot more than we thought – following always the sunny forecast (which sometimes was not true either)

Whistler - Green Lake Green Lake
On the way out of town we stopped at the green lake: the original plan was to come here for a day for a swim: but the clouds today decided that we keep going… so at least a quick stop to check it out, especially when it is right along the road

One-Mile Lake One Mile Lake
They say it’s nice for a swim – ok the weather did not invite: even the sun rays came out: perfect for a coffee (and chips) break and then we enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk to go around the lake with some great views on water lilies…

Nairn Fall PP Nairn Falls PP
It’s very simple: there is a Provincial Park: we will check it out – if there is a waterfall: we will stop and have a look and if they are both in one and have a camp ground: we spent the night:

Nairn Fall PP - the first rocky gorge Hike to the waterfalls
So after setting up our camper we are on the way to the falls: it starts out along the green river. If you wonder why it’s called green river: the color looks greenish, which makes it look cool against the grey stones and there are doubtfully some cool large stones or rocks in this fast running river. And then we come to a cool looking rocky gorge and we already like it.

So first you come and see a waterfall and think that is nice … then you continue you on and discover that the real ones are only coming: what I liked the best were all those super cool huge rocks at the waterfall and in the water along the river.

One thing is for sure: this is one super amazing waterfall: how it made its way through the rocks – this is definitely a must see!!

Nairn Fall PP - we have a river spot Camping along the river
And we got a campground right on the river: so you stand on the edge and you have a nice view up and down the green river… view on the mountains… it’s so nice we even walked more around the campsite and found some more nice spots.
