Spent about 3 hours on blogs this morning. Internet still too slow to get everything done.  

My landlord was going to come by around noon, but he never showed. So I just read all day.  

Every evening, right before sunset, the clouds roll in. Just can't get any good sunset photos.

The sun goes down around 7pm, and I kept waiting for a good shot; didn't happen. So I headed down to the little store at the bottom of my street; picked up milk, OJ, Coke, chips, and a bar of soap. $4 total: that was my expense for the day (other than rent); I'm still living off the ham and cheese I bought a few days ago and the fruit I bought yesterday.  

Most evenings, or during the night, it rains. Tonight it started about 7:30 with strong winds (hasn't done that yet): it was blowing papers around and slamming doors (windows stay open all the time, otherwise it's too hot and humid - no a/c, remember?). I had to secure everything. And then it started raining. I kept checking the windows for rain coming in; then I caught it coming in on the side it hasn't before. And it got really cool: almost needed a sheet to cover up with in bed. Definitely no fan!
