Lo de Marcos, Nayarit, Mexico

Got up about 6:30. Finished packing. Left at 7:20. Walked to the bus station.

7:30 Bought my bus ticket.

7:55 Bus left. Arrived in Lo de Marcos at 8:15. Was in my room at 8:30.

Went from $15/day to $24/day: lost the living room, but gained hot water, tv, clothes hanging area, and an ocean view (from third floor - exercise is good!) with the beach 100 ft away. Oh, and the internet is at least twice as fast.

Did some stuff on the computer. Took a shower. Went to lunch.

  Best spot on the beach.

Everything was good. Chicken breast pieces were thin, but there were two large pieces; it could easily have fed two.

Walked the town a little bit after lunch. Got pretty hot. Went back to my room and chilled out.

Went out for sunset photos.

Had a rum and coke at the same restaurant, while taking pics.

They don't serve dinner at this place, so I went looking around.

Walked by maybe six places with no one dining. Kept looking for a place that might be a little bit popular. No luck. Got to remember that the locals are quite poor, which means no dinners out; they might grab a taco or ice cream, but that's about it for the most part.
Not a lot of tourists right now. Season starts soon though.

Found this Canadian bar: a couple guys watching elections (big change in Canada: went from strongly conservative to hugely liberal) and Toronto Blue Jays in the ALCS.
Food service was already closed, and I needed to eat something, so I went looking some more. No luck.

There was this little sidewalk stand grilling hot dogs. I got two and went right back up the street to the bar, had three rum and cokes, went home, checked FB, and went to bed.
