Tired body - great sunset

Lo de Marcos, Nayarit, Mexico

Rows of mountains (small ones) to the southeast.

Too many clouds for a good sunrise.

Went down the south end of the beach the other day (a couple of yet to open - for the season - hotels, then it's all private property).
So I wanted to check out the north end of the beach while it was still cool.

Didn't make it all the way: forgot about the estuary that comes in over there. Doesn't seem to be much beyond the estuary, except beach sand.

Did manage to get a decent sunrise photo as the clouds cleared up.

This guy fishing had about eight dogs (some were running around) around him. What's up with that?

Walked up and down a few streets, until I got too hot.

Stopped at a stand and picked up 20 oz cup of pina something: there were six or eight choices, none of which rang any bells. $1.20 This is the second of these 'blind' drinks I've had: both were good and hit the spot (better than grabbing a soda).

Got back. Took a shower. All of a sudden, I felt really tired. I took a short nap. Read. Blogged. Took another nap.

At 3:00, I took my laundry to a lavanderia: washed everything but shorts, t-shirt, shoes and sandals. The lady said it would be ready at 7:00 for $75; she tried to get me to come back tomorrow, but I told her I needed it today (no, my spanish isn't that good, and she didn't understand a word of english, but I bumbled through it). So I gave her $100 ($6) when I picked it up: washed, dried and folded.

Walked about half a block to the Canadian bar: had two beers (Indio), cheeseburger and fries (with tip: $8.50 - no bargains here).

Back at the room, read and napped 'til sunset.

There go them dang bells again! Didn't hear them yesterday. They're far enough away to not be a bother (can barely hear them).

Don't know what it is about sunsets, but I guess I love 'em!

No, it's not a ship - just the way the clouds are blocking off the sun.

See the pink dot towards the bottom?
