Stairs

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico

Sunny and cool this morning. So I went out for a stroll.

Wanted to give you some idea how steep things are. The roads at places are only one foot from a drop of 20-50 feet and the hill continues steeply for another couple hundred feet. You fall off the edge and you'll be tumbling for a while, unless you can grab hold of some vegetation. Luckily, there's usually a small rail or something; sometimes it's just the vegetation: I just keep looking straight ahead and think the 'shrubs' are level with me and not the tops of 20 ft trees!

To the left of the car and fence is where the stairs start.

Just a short block from the bottom of the stairs to the beach.

It's too steep to have the stairs go straight down; they keep turning right and left.

Some idea of how many hotels they jam in here.

Took the street back up: some views of the bay.

Private residence.

New condos right next to my hotel.

Got cloudy again, but no rain. Watched a movie. Read. Sleep.
