'Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the town,  
few creatures were stirring, and few had a frown.  

After al, it's Saturday, on a holiday weekend. Everyone I've seen seems happy with their Christmas.  

I woke up with a chill (certainly doesn't do me any good to just sit around all day). So I went up and had a couple cups of coffee.  

 
 
Then, about 11am, I was getting some aches in my neck; so I decided I need a little exercise. I walked up the hill (a branch off the same road I walked up before), took some pics along the way, and when I got back (about 40 min later), my neck felt better, but now I'm dealing with a cold.  

Stopped in for a sandwich and a beer. They fix pretty good food around here. Got a nice thick six inch sub for $2.  

The internet's been working pretty decent today, so I did the blogs for the last two days. I've had three rum and cokes, but my cold hasn't got any better. I probably caught the chill last night: it's dropping down to the mid 50s (I know: I'm a wuss), and I have enough covers, but ...
And it went up to almost 80 today: beautiful, clear skies; very low humidity. Pretty much perfect weather, for most people; I'd rather it didn't even drop into the 60s!  

So I read for two hours, then I saw these pretty streaks in the sky, even though I'm on the wrong side of the mountain for good sunset shots.  















 

Then I went up for dinner: had the same as at lunch.
