I took advantage of my free time and internet to download some ebooks (just choosing a book is time consuming: most of what I like to read - mostly fantasy at the moment - are series; trouble is that often the author is not finished with the series, but figuring that out is, mostly, not straightforward.) 

Then I did more research on temps, where to go, where to stay, where I can find a bank. Doesn't sound like that would consume a day, but it did.
