Kind of windy this morning. There are all kinds of loose things outside the game room (really just a huge garage): lots of banging sounds; you would think something would break loose after a while!  

Hung out by the pool for a while, reading and chatting with other people. But the wind was too much. Plus I'm dealing with another minor cold. There was lots of wind in San Blas, and I had to get out of it once in a while, but for the most part I was okay. As soon as I returned to the heat in Panama City, I had to turn the AC on and that's where I picked up my sore throat. The wind is cooler here, so It's not helping me to recover. I'm hobbling a little with my cut up foot, so mostly I've been sitting in the game room reading.  

I made a couple trips to the store: got OJ and apple juice; then at suppertime I got some bologna and crackers. There's a better store farther down the road, but it's more than twice as far.  

So I mostly hung out in the game room reading all day, and then in my bunk at bedtime.  

We're also getting intermittent rain drops, and light showers that last less than two minutes. The wind and rain are somewhat unusual for this time of year according to one of the locals.
