Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro, Panama
Old Bank is the name of the main area of Bastimentos. It's sort of like a large village, or a very small town. There's a sidewalk, about 5ft wide, that runs from one end of town to the other, about 1K long. On either side are homes and businesses. See the pics below for an idea of the reality of this place.
I had breakfast at the hostel, then walked the town
. Came back and read or chatted with other people all afternoon. Went out for dinner. Then more reading and off to bed.
There isn't much to do here. I came to go to the beaches; I didn't know getting to them would be such a chore.
