Hiked the island looking for a couple of small beaches. More mud and hills, but not as bad as Bastimentos. What should have been a two hour hike turned into a five hour trek: the trails are not well enough marked. I never did find the beaches. Bambuda provides rubber boots; very thankful for that.  

Had lunch and took a nap.  

After dinner, about half of us went to a bonfire party on another island. Couldn't see much and didn't walk around the area. There was a bar there, owned by a young couple. Just hung around the bar and the bonfire, talking with people. Got polluted: don't remember half the people I talked to.  

Got back and a bunch of us hit the pool for some water volleyball. Then we hung out at the bar, with the owner, 'til about 5am.
