Last day of March: doesn't feel to me like another month has gone by .  

Need to run some errands today, before I start school.   

My shoes are stinky; time to buy another pair. Took a van to the mall ($0.20). Looked around: only a couple shoe stores; saw a possibility at Payless.  

Went a couple blocks down to Wal-Mart. Attached to Wal-Mart is a long enclosed area sort of like a mini mall, with a large food court at the end with lots of American brands (Dominos, Burger King, etc). This place has more shoe stores than anything else. Even found one place with around ten styles of Merrell shoes; but they must have been closeouts: none in my size. Ended up going back to Payless ($50).  

Got lunch at the food court: panolini - sort of pizza with crust on top and bottom ($3.40). Could have gotten away with only eating half, if I'd been closer to 'home' and finished with shopping.  

Got a new toothbrush and some Ibuprofen at Wal-Mart.  

Headed back to the hostel. After that shopping, I needed a drink. Found one person hanging around the hostel and asked her to join me.  

Back here at 6pm.  

Watched tv on my laptop. Snacked on cheetos and chex mix for dinner.  

Bedtime.
