Gili Meno, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia
This mongrel cat had scratched and bitten a lady at the evenings show, then during the early hrs of that night I heard noises in our glam tent got out of bed to check nothing, an hour later I felt something on my pillow above my head & the mongrel had got into out tent, John had the le me to go back to sleep I was imagining it all until he saw the mongrel himself.... took some getting out it suck under the canvas. Then the next day it bite a baby. If only......

Slow start today no rush to get to breaky .....after a truly crappy night with that stupid cat getting into our tent....
told the manager about the cat he was making sure the bottom of the tent was tighter less chance the cat can get in once this could be done.

Did some pic updating, then headed out for a wander across the island.
This takes us past the local homes away from the busy areas. Mind you there are little resorts home stays and cottages all over the place.. guessing the further away from the beach the cheaper it gets this is back packer haven here.

Made it to the other side to have lunch where we stopped the other day a cafe over looking Gili Twangan.. today the cafe was pumping heaps of people heaps of hawkers selling their wears...
I sat watching a guy selling his sarongs, he had amazing ones and had heaps of girls around all wanting to buy from him. Every time you thought he had a beautiful one he would bring out an even better one. Most girls bought more than one. Clever marketing I reackon!!!

We headed off track to discover the inland salt water lake, having to negotiating our way along a now water covered track. We came out at a little store in the middle of no where.... further in where all the local kids fishing with thin pieces of bamboo and were catching fish to boot couldn't believe it...

From here we headed back had a rest before dinner, then headed up to watch local guys doing some fighting dances.
While having dinner an amazing BBQ night starting with an Oyster and Prosecco deal. Me having the prosecco, John having the oysters. Then as entree I had raw snapper soaked in lime it was yummy but couldn't have it all sad to say...

While at dinner we were approached by a gorgeous young lady asking if we would consider doing a testimonial for Karma Resorts. Her name was Donna very pretty and very sales savvy...

We said yes why not, she organised for us to have the on camera the next day very grateful we were happy to oblige....

Day over another day in paradise, being thankful we are so blessed to have this opportunity.
