Gili Meno, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia
John up early starting to feel a little better. He had been on the front veranda for quite some time when I finally surfaced. Opened the curtains for the last time to watch the ocean as I did my daily reading and spend with My Lord......
John came in and announced he had 2 things to tell me . 1. The ocean had gone a really long way out this AM this had not occurred the whole time we had been here... looked so different!
No 2. He is sure we had an earthquake while he was outside. He felt the tent shake and the swing started swinging by itself. Eerie for sure......
we finished packing cause we had already packed most stuff yesterday arvo after our walk.
Put the gear outside only for me to look for my hat as we would be in the sun I didn't want my already problem SCC on my nose to get worse....
Well I looked through everything I could then had to unpack the whole suitcase every bag I have and if you know me I
The ultimate bag lady have heaps. Telling myself I had totally lost it how could I lose my hat I had it yesterday arvo in the tent.
By now Joh had lost all patients with me putting myself down believing I had dementia big time.... I stated to look behind things and Vola there it was behind the curtain I had only an hour or so before asked John to check to see nothing had fallen behind them. He had had a man's look for sure and no dementia hadn't totally set in yet!!!!!
His excuse was it was the same colour as the curtain so how could he have seen that .... all a conspiracy I am sure so he can get me locked up!!!!
So off to our last breaky after repacking for the 3rd time....
said our goodbyes given a lovely gift by management a sarong with Karma on it... how lovely was that.
We only tipped one guy and out cabin cleaner. Axis was so quiet yet so helpful he and another young guy who was off today made our stay so special. The other young fellow was the one who came to the tent to see if John needed a Doctor.

But as he wasn't there sad to say he didn't get the tip. I didn't quite trust the other guy to give it to him....

So thanking Andre's we get into our slow boat to Gili Trawangan.... only this guy unlike the fellow that took is to the island wanted to get there quickly, we rolled and rocked up and over waves all the time me thinking this is it.....
We survived to see another day in one piece thank the Lord and got off by now quite wet to be rushed up the beach along the crazy street to where we had to wait for our next boat transfer .
It was a bit of a wait but gave us a chance to watch the craziness of Gili Trawangan so glad we didn't stay here. The amount of people they push through this place is unreal.... boats coming and going people by the 100's either staying or moving to other islands in the area.

Finally our boat arrives, it was filled +++++ with people my goodness the sheer amount coming off this boat was unreal and then to see how nan are going back on was as unreal...
I not sure how managed to b 2nd on the boat so got a seat up front where there was aircon and an open door with air flowing through.
They had a Mission Impossible movie showing and as it was right in front of us we sat back to enjoy.
Well about 15 mins into the ride I looked over at John's arms he was sweating ++++ then I looked at his face and he was green. We told him to quickly get to the open doorway for fresh air.
Unlike him to be sick but with all his tummy upset the last few days to he expected. I forgot to give him a Anti nausea pill before we left .
Lucky he got to the door when he did as there were people coming from the back forward to get fresh air they were all sea sick. By now the ocean was very rough and the ship was pounding through the waves.
We finally made it all in one piece I even got to see the whole movie bonus!!!
Arrival at Padang Bai as they spelt it was as busy as getting in the boat actually busier as there were 4 big boats being loaded.
We found our transfer person and made sure we didn't lose sight of her at all....
Finally into a little car with 2 from California. They both saying it was the trip from m hell for them, we telling them our trip to the Gili's was much worse. As it was. Only difference this time is Joh being sick.

We finally made it to the resort, only to be given a room on the bottom floor right at the back of the resort. I was so looking forward to being on an upper floor to watch all the locals again as I did last time it made my time me here so special.... but not to be sad to say ...
The room itself is really lovely huge stone bath big shower big bed and plenty of room. So suck it up old girl and enjoy what you have.......

Went to organise meal deals as they had a special if you did that... but with all the restrictions that were put on it I lost it and went back to the room upset...
I have a big problem eating now she many foods affect my health I can only eat very very little amounts and they wanted us to have big meal deals with the specials. I just couldn't think straight about it all and lost the same plot. The poor girl at the desk wondered what she had got.
John come and got me calmed me down as he does told me I only had to eat what I could and not to panic.
Caaaaalmm again I could see it was all ok!
Food was my enemy before in the way I loved it so much I ate too much now it's my enemy again but for a different reason I have so much if an issue what I can eat that doesn't make me sick. Sucks but that's the trade off I did in stopping my over abuse of food.

We manage to have some good me very little but as you can see I am very much alive and able to do what I love just with some changes to how it's done! Still very blessed that's for sure!!!
