Very un-Sherry like packing only an hour before we are due to leave for airport (oh my gawd!).

Air Mauritius must fly Lilliputians as even our midget knees were touching the seat in front .

Half the plane uber, uber excited going to a wedding. Cue lots of yapping and clapping and cheering.

Raining when we arrived and getting dark so couldn't really see a lot of the landscape but the airport was pretty impressive. Very modern and fancier than Perth International (well ... name an airport which isn't).

Arrived at our hotel and found we had been upgraded from the entry level room we booked to (I kid you not) the friggin Presidential Suite! What an amazing room. Inside spa, massive bathroom, 3 separate sitting areas inside, four poster bed and outside on the huge balcony there are deck chairs and a private plunge pool! The only downside is we have to move back to our booked room for the final night. How will we bear the deprivation?

And no, the US Cheetos is not in there with us.
