Fane, Jeff, Nick and Rob went down to the green belt on the Colorado River to hike around. We saw a blue heron and some other bird sightings.

Then we went to Museum of the Rockies . Everyone wandered around the museum and Nick and Jeff went up the tower and viewed the valley.

After the museum we went the the Rockslide for.....beer. After we enjoyed a few refreshments we went back to Pam's house for dinner. Rob's parents came over for dinner and surprised Nick with a birthday cake, Nick turned 59, the baby of the group. We had a nice conversation after dinner before turning in for the evening.  

We got up and Fane left for home, and rest of us went over to Bob & Gail's for breakfast, load up the bikes and head out for the days journey.
