My sister Lorraine is nana-nana-boo-boo-ing us because it's apparently spring in Regina. Props to you guys for having some nice weather. We don't mind ... yesterday here was 95 degrees, only slightly warmer than back home. ;o)
After me shooting my mouth yesterday about every day here being clear and sunny, today is cloudy and rainy. At 9:30 a.m. it was 82 degrees, but it felt much cooler because of the cloud cover and haze. They say you can still burn thru the haze, so have to be careful. Even though it was raining off and on this afternoon, we decided to walk thru the neighboring subdivision - Cabo Bello - where Bob & Lynn live. Some beautiful houses. Got soaked in a downpour, but continued on to the Santa Carmela Organic Market about mile down the road to buy a few odds and ends. Got soaked again a couple of times on the way home. It was a pleasant soaking, however, as the rain was warm and the temperature was 79.
The condo has one of those outdoor temperature readers that has a device outside to record the temperature, and a display unit inside to show the temperature, humidity, etc. Joe & Polly have one, and the display has a little man that changes his clothes depending on the weather (you know, parka, toque, umbrella, swim trunks, etc). He seldom is wearing his swim trunks. Ours has a beautiful girl on it, and she's almost always wearing a bikini. Roger likes it better than the little man. A standard phrase around the condo is "So, how hot is the bikini girl?" :)
For supper tonite we made a greek salad, and pizza in the BBQ.
