Bismarck, North Dakota, United States
We arrived in Bismarck shortly after 4:30, earlier than expected after an uneventful day of travelling.

Highlights of the day:
- Roads were great - dry ... hardly any snow to be seen in the countryside.
- We went thru the border crossing at Northgate - no one in line, so was very quick.
- Roger was able to connect with his "dealer" in Minot to buy a quantity of Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade. He's drinking it as we speak (now, at the Days Inn, not in the car as we were driving!)
- Since we are driving S.K.*, we had to make more stops to empty Roger (3) than to fill S.K. (1 fill = $27, and only because we only had a partial tank when we left Regina). S.K. is much less thirsty than Roger's F150 piggy. We would have made it all the way to Bismarck with a full tank.
- Supper at Olive Garden. We need to get us one of those in Regina!

* S.K. = Silent Killer, our nickname for my Prius. She was christened this when I nearly ran over a co-worker in the SGI parkade shortly after we bought her. At low speeds, she runs only on electric, and as I was gliding into my parking spot, Jarvis walked out from behind a post and I almost hit him. He dubbed her the Silent Killer, and it has stuck.

re SK - is that because they're quiet when running on electric? I don't know from such things LOL
