Since the forecast was for a wonderful, hot day today, we didn't plan too much other than to sit by the pool and soak up some sun (and heat). ;o)

Gil was up and about early to head to the denturist to see about his tooth. They were able to fix it today, so good for them as they are headed to Canyon Lake on Saturday.

And Roger had made an appointment at 10 am with a local Toyota dealership for warranty check, as our mileage requires it. When he got there, he found out that their warranty rules are different here than at home. Long story. So he paid for an oil change and was on his way. We are starting our long journey home on Saturday, so it was good to get some fresh oil for S.K. to help her cruise home.

Lois went for a long walk before it got too hot, and we headed to the pool. It doesn't appear that they heat it, so it was damn cold. Splashing our feet and legs was about all we could take, then we lounged around and read. The clouds rolled in so it wasn't quite as blistering as we expected, but were surprised to see the guage on the car read 30 degrees when we went for a quick jaunt to the Mexican grocery.

Lois made an awesome shrimp meal for supper, and we had a quiet night at home. Tomorrow is supposed to cool right off again, which is okay as we'll be packing and getting ready to move on.
