Feb 28 - 10,100 km later

Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
Well, we're home. We hightailed it out of Fargo and beat the storm. Other than snow in the fields and ditches, and a bit of icy slush on the roads in Minot, we didn't have to travel thru any snow. Those last two days were long days of travelling though - 19 hrs over two days. It appears that we also got thru ahead of the tornados that went sweeping thru the U.S. just a couple of days later, touching down along the path we took thru Kansas & Nebraska.

In total, we travelled 10,100 km. We were very impressed with the performance and comfort of S.K. She was an excellent travelling partner. It was awesome to reconnect with Gil & Lois along the way, and Roger & I survived the whole trip without killing each other - a good thing. ;o)

It was a good trip but, as always, it's good to be home.

We made it home safe and sound on Saturday March 10th. We too didn't kill one another over the 2 1/2 months of togetherness.... LOL
It was great having you two join us on the journey. We enjoyed your blog whether it was when we were together or not.
I learned a new word "libation" and enjoyed some good rum with a buddy.
Glad Gil had card buddies as well.
