We are off again, we sail across on the Spirit of Tasmania to Geelong, on the 25th April. Then drive down to Lakes Entrance.
We will then head North through the mountains to Omeo, Bright and Myrtleford. We will search the area for Ned Kellys Helmet a series of Geocaches located on the map in the art form of Neds Helmet.
We then continue from Wangaratta to Canberra, we will call into the Ettamogah Pub for a pint. We will give a tickle behind the ear to the Dog at Gundagai.
On to Narellen, then through the Entrance collecting a British post box geocache along the way. Up to Cessnock and a trip around the Hunter Valley.
From Cessnock to Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest and Bombah Point and Buladelah (why - because they sounded cool).
Coffs Harbour, Byron Bay, then to spend time with our Northern living grandkids in Brisbane and Noosa.
On return we will visit Toowoomba, see the Grey in Goodiwindi, Moree, Coonabarabran. A night in Dubbo Zoo, Sofala (the oldest surviving heritage town in Australia).Bathurst, Orange, Forbes, Griffith, Wagga, Shepparton and back to Geelong and catch up with our neices.
We will see sites for plane crashes, submarines, do a lap of the Mount Panorama Circuit. Silo Art, Enchanted Huts and hermit caves and a lot more.
So I am sure there will be the usual weird and wonderful and I bet their will be a bit of wacky as well.
During our trip we would love to get feedback from you, so if anything you see sparks and emotion we encourage you to add a comment as it makes the whole trip more enjoyable for everyone.
