San Francisco, California, United States
So there we were, on a 6 hour flight from New York to San Francisco, and I realised, "This really sucks." By the time the Cabin Crew came to us there was no lunch left, my headphones didn't work so I couldn't watch the movie, there was a baby behind us making poo smells and her twin sister did nothing but cry. I started to count the number of annoying things about the flight but somehow, before I got to the end of the list, we'd landed; so I stopped worrying about the small things and started to enjoy myself again.

San Francisco weather is excellent . Half of the state of California is consumed by flames and the other half is crispy and crunchy, but not San Francisco. It's about 24 degrees during the hottest part of the day and around 15 degrees during the coldest part.

I got Steven started on a shopping spree in New York and he hasn't finished yet. On our second last day there we spent 8 hours at Macy's and today we spent almost as much time shopping.

We all know that San Francisco is hilly. Yesterday Steven and I walked up Nob Hill. One hill! We didn't even make it to the top and Steven hurt his back. I'm starting to think, with his 5 day cold and sore back, that it's Steven who's the delicate flower and not me. I shouldn't be too hard on him; after all I have a lot more practice at being a tourist.

I've added a couple of photos of the last few days. Tomorrow we're planning on walking to, and then across, the Golden Gate Bridge, but that means conquering not only Nob Hill but also Russian Hill. I don't know if Steven's up to it, do you think I should tell him we could walk around the hills instead of over them?
