Well Geoff's comment hit home and Graham was off on his first run of the year bright and early. Will post a pre exercise regime picture of Graham later although I think a lot of running and walking will be required to counter the jugs of beer and NZ food. 
 Back on the ferry to Auckland to stay with the Newicks in their lovely home in Auckland . Dave and Sharon drove us out to Matakana for lunch and then a walk on Omaha Beach. Too windy to remove any clothing so we just oggled the very large houses on the foreshore. 
Sunday evening would not have been complete without a 'walk' to the pub Kiwi style at a fast pace for half an hour to make sure you had built up a good thirst. Then half an hour back to work off the pints to an amazing crayfish salad cooked by Sharon, the crayfish having been caught out at their holiday Bach by Dave. It's going to be hard starting to cook again!
