Heading South

Paraparaumu, North Island, New Zealand
Not much to recount today apart from 4 hours driving bringing us nearer to Sammy.
Breakfast stop in Wanganui where you will be pleased to hear Graham refrained from the full english and opted for just eggs and bacon . Uneventful drive passing a sign to Alton but based on the other towns we drove through probably wasn't worth a visit. Interesting town called Bull where the sign said 'Bull, a town like no udder'. Amazingly, located in dairy country. Coffee stop in Flax was good. Arrived in Paraparaumu to be greeted by our very friendly host and Graham was delighted to see they had a camper bus on the driveway they are renovating.
Just chilling tonight in preparation for an early start for our ferry to Kapiti Island tomorrow morning.

Looks a good deal warmer than here. We have just had a sunny crisp very cold spell, a proper winter . Alas the temperature has climbed from -6c to +7c today and the rain is back ! Have a good trip. A xx
