Crayfish Feast

Kaikoura, South Island, New Zealand
Day two in Kaikoura and another clear blue sky. We decided to walk the full three hour Kaikoura Peninsular walkway stopping for lunch in Kaikoura. For some reason this walk seemed to take most of the day but probably something to do with chatting to people and an afternoon coffee stop as well as lunch (only a sandwich so we had room for the crayfish).
Graham's new mate Woody was home at 5 and off they went for more crayfish . Woody kindly lent Graham some very fetching wellies with their own built in holes! Six were caught today but not as large.
We then opened a bottle of wine and tucked into the delicious crayfish kindly cooked by Rosemary, absolutely delicious and enough left for lunch tomorrow, yippee.
