Missing Sammy Already

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Easy run out to the airport last night even though it was rush hour and we actually drove over the Sydney Harbour Bridge although back through the tunnel on the return. It seemed very quiet this morning without Sammy but compensation was a clear blue sunny sky which lasted all day, although a tad breezy but that was fine. Shame it hadn't been better weather for Sammy’s week in Australia but hopefully she will see some sun in Vietnam before the UK weather.
So dusted off the sun cream and headed to the beach until lunchtime . Finished my book club Luther novel which was excellent. We then had a pm coffee in Manly, good, to get some urgently needed wifi before going for a civilised tramp. Said walk was supposed to be east then south to North Head but half an hour into the walk we realised we had headed west then south to Sydney Harbour National Park. Not mentioning who was map reading! However it didn't matter as all the walks are on designated pathways along the shoreline past lovely properties with great views. Several steps you’ll be pleased to know up to the lookout with a very manicured park area nearby (also accessible by road) with dog walkers. Guess they were all at the public park as dogs aren't allowed in the National Park areas.
Quick beer in Manly which was allowed after our 10 kms walk.
