More strolling around Singapore

Singapore, Singapore
Cardy on to go to breakfast as freezing in the hotel which only makes the shock of going outside even worse. No rain today but no sun either and we decided to brave the walking again, slowly.
Down to the Marina Bay Hotel complex and thought we couldn't go wrong with a coffee there . Wrong, it was horrid, giving up now until home. Ear popping ride up to the 57th floor of the hotel for the amazing (hazy) views of the city. There is a huge infinity pool at the top but guests only.
Walked to the end of the Park to view the Barrage built to conserve water and stop serious flooding. We then spent a 'cool' hour in the Barrage Centre learning all about the build and water conservation in Singapore and amazingly were the only ones in there. Walked back through the Gardens and The Supertree Grove but didn't go into either of the two Garden Domes in case they were hotter than outside.
Cooled off back in the hotel before walking back down to Chinatown for dinner. Once we avoided the fish head curry, chicken feet and pigs intestine and definitely the pork ring on noodles, our choice was excellent. Plus the beers were large size so a bonus and we were the only Europeans in the small restaurant which was a good sign.
