Even earlier start this am as we headed back to Biran where Castro was born in 1926 on the family sugar cane plantation. Amazing to think he came from such wealth but wanted to improve the lot of the peasant class. It was then back to Camaguey for a very nice lunch before back in the bus for a very long journey to Sancti Spíritus. Nice little Hotel and a nice bar where most of the group convened for farewell drinks and doorstep sarnies.
