Today was our first day of using public transport in WA. Easier than Italy as we could understand the language but I always find them poorly designed for non locals. Who knows how many zones I am crossing. Another important difference between WA and Italy is everyone, especially the public service, are friendly and go out of their way to help.

Before long we had caught our connecting train, hocked up with Mikey and Maureen and arrived at Hillary's Marina to help Larisa celebrate another year on the planet .

Stan had finally let Johny and Nicole know we were in the state and had organised to meet them after Larisa's celebration. Once there Stan noticed the League Final on and could not move until it was over. I was happy to see the Storm win...... Stan not (For Digger's Sake)

During the afternoon Nicole let slip that Johny worked in a brewery on the weekend. Before we knew it, we were visiting, then we were locked in and it was staff drinking time. These holidays are hard work!!!!

Caught another train home (Perth only has 5 lines and we ventured on 3 in one day) and found Rach and Tim enjoying the hospitality of Fremantle.

It felt like deja vu when before I knew what was happening, Fremantle was closing and we had to go to the Casino. We had a get time. Started poorly but came home Winners.
