Point Quobba, Western Australia, Australia
8/7/2015 1 night – Point Quobba Camp Ground ($11 p/p p/n)

We had a few nights to kill before heading to Shark Bay and decided we would pull into Point Quobba for an overnighter .

We stayed at a campground that is meant to have an on-site Ranger that you can pay but apparently the Ranger had not been sighted for 5 days… We would have been happy to leave $$$ in honesty box if one had of been provided...So a freebie night for us!

It was about 4.30pm when we arrived and it was blowing an absolute gale. This place is like a shantytown... there are lots of dilapidated beach shacks that have been taken down over the last few years by cyclones. It felt like we were in a scene from Mad Max!

We spent the rest of arvo/night indoors out of the wind and cold.

The following morning on the way out we checked out the Blow Holes.
