Jurien Bay, Western Australia, Australia
29/7/2015 - 30/7/2015 - 2 nights Jurien Bay Tourist Park ($34 p/n)

Arrived at the small seaside town around 2pm, quick set up then wandered down the beach . Jurien Bay has a beautiful beachfront with a café, walking trails, outdoor gym and huge jetty.

At the old jetty site an artificial reef has been constructed. The reef is made up of 79 concrete "reef balls" the biggest ones weighing 750kg. Unfortunately the weather was really average so we didn't get to see them first hand underwater.

It was overcast and wet the following day so we waited for a slight break in the weather and headed off to Nambung National Park to check out the Pinnacle Desert, which covers approximately 190 hectares.

We drove around a 4km track winding through thousands of huge limestone pillars rising up from the most amazing yellow sand. The landscape was absolutely incredible… a definite must see!
