3/8/2015 - 11/8/2015 5 nights - Ossotel Hotel & 4 nights Mangroves Beach Villas

We had booked our flights back in May knowing that we would want to grab some sunshine before heading back East .

We had a 1.30pm flight and Wes was kind enough to drop us off at the airport.

We checked-in, which took a whole 5mins… gotta love Perth airport! Then headed to the bar for a few drinks.

Our plane left about 20 minutes late but at least it was a quick 3.5hr flight.

We got to the Ossottel in Legian about 7pm quickly changed and headed straight to Mozeralla's as our good friends Kaz and Steve (and their friends Mal and Trina) were waiting for us. It was awesome to see familiar faces after 4 months on the road. We had a great catch up then had a reasonably early night.

We got back to the hotel and only to find the construction next door was still going on… a quick trip down to reception to ask if it was possible to move to a ground floor room…. No problem, you can have the suite! Yeah… winning!

The next few days in Legian we did the usual shopping and lying on the beach; and caught up with the guys at The Brothers Bar… Jason, Jerry, Made, Alex and Made .

Tuesday night we met Kaz, Steve & Co for sunset drinks at Bar 707 at Batu Belig Beach then dinner at Hog Wild… delicious ribs, great company and a couple of bottles of champers to boot!

Wednesday night we went to Romeos (Ossotel restaurant) for cocktails and dinner, and listened to a great band and watched a fire thrower do his thing.

We managed to catch up with Kaz and Steve again on Thursday night as their flights had been cancelled. Drinks and dinner at Capil Beach… too easy!

Saturday arvo we headed over to Sanur to spend time with the bad man (Bloody Ron) and Eddie.

The next three days were spent on "cultural tours", which included exploring Sanur’s cheapest best eats,… and boy were they cheap!

We had a 7.30am flight on Wednesday so were up at 4.00am and headed to the airport early in case there was a backlog of passengers trying to get on additional flights.
