18/8/2015 - 1 night Somewhere between Caiguna and Cocklebiddy (Free Camp)

We met Andrea for a final coffee then headed off from Kalgoorlie around 10 .00am.

And so our trek across the Nullarbor began... and the landscape continued to change!

We hit 90 Mile Straight which is the longest straight stretch of road in Australia, and watched the sun set behind us just out of Caiguna.

This was the first time we had been on the road so late and we were keen to find the next free camp as the critters would start to come out shortly. We had made it thus far without incident and didn't want to hit something now :(

We finally pulled off the road about 6pm... quick dinner then an early night.
