Although I fell asleep fairly easily last night, I woke around midnight and then couldn't get to sleep again until about 4am. The pain wasn't very bad and I only took one more of the less-powerful pain-killers during the night but just couldn't get back to sleep. Watched a little sport and some weird movie on the telly before drifting off again. Woke up around 9am to find a message waiting for me from Bryony who was getting a little concerned that she hadn't been able to raise me.

I got dressed and headed into KL Sentral to buy another smoothie for breakfast. Around 11am I had a call from the clinic, just checking up to make sure everything was OK. Nice touch. 

Went for ride on the LRT to have a bit of a look-around, got confused about what station I was at on the way back, had to take a detour to change lines and ended up on the monorail instead of the LRT and had to pay an extra 10 cents at the end of my trip as I had a LRT ticket, not a monorail ticket.   Its an interesting system here - the trains, the LRT and the monorail. Its cheap, can get you anywhere and you never have to wait for more than a few minutes - but they are poorly integrated, having been built by separate companies.  

Had an ice-cream for dinner - there are some benefits to this enforced "diet" - then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in my room.
