A lazy Sunday in KL

Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia
My sleep patterns were very similar to the previous night. Slept OK until about 1am then couldn't get back to sleep for ages. More weird movies and sport - is truck racing really a sport - on the TV. Around 6am my jaw was aching a little more than usual so I took one of the lower-strength pain-killers and must have nodded off just about immediately.

Its after 11am before I wake up and after a shower head off for breakfast - a coffee-flavoured smoothie this time . I considered going to the Genting Highlands today and head off to hopefully catch the 1pm bus for the 1 hour trip.   However, the next available bus is at 2pm so I figure i'll save that trip for another time.   Instead, I catch the LRT to KLCC intending to do the tour of the Petronas Towers.   That plan is foiled as well.   Apparently there are only about 960 tickets sold each day and about half of those are pre-booked with tour groups etc.   You need to line up at 8:30am and its first-in, first-served.   However, next tour is not available until Wednesday, I'm told.

Had a wander around instead, got a little wet when a rain storm came through, visited a 7/11 on the way home and bought a packet of instant noodles and finished off my outing with a strawberry sundae from Maccas at KL Sentral.

Had the noodles a little later wile watching Hell-Boy on the idiot box, washed a couple of shirts and so ended another day of not much at all.

Tomorrow I go for a final check-up at the clinic. My face doesn't feel too bad, still a bit sore of course and I don't think the swelling is too bad - everything considered. I don't feel my appearance will scare any young children.  No more than usual anyway.
