Good call: we fly tomorrow...with a stop-layover Hong Kong airport.
We had discussed taking advantage of the layover by heading into Hong Kong city but decided 5 hours wasn't really enough time to explore, pass through customs, etc
., etc. Turns out to have been a very good call in light of effects of protests now underway...
"No airlines have cancelled or reduced service to Hong Kong. The only hint of any issue is Cathay Pacific's advice for traveling between the airport and Central, as "public transport services to and from the airport are likely to be affected." Leave extra early or plan an alternate route..." (we are flying Cathay Pacific)
