Iguassu Falls

Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil
Boa tarde from Iguassu airport. Having spent our first two nights in Iguassu, we were royally spoiled by staying at Hotel Das Cataratas inside the national park, with tremendous views of the falls and access to before and after hours at the park, avoiding the thousands of day tourists. We were able to catch an earlier flight than scheduled to Iguassu and found Tami and Dean by the pool enjoying a warm sunny afternoon. We had pouring rain most of our next day so we sat under a tent by the pool waiting it out. We were able to walk to the falls late in the day, the rain adding to the falls magnitude. It definitely is one of the natural wonders of the world snd another bucket list check for us. The falls is THE highlight of the area, 3 times wider than Niagara, with an average 1.5 million liters of water falling per hour. We could see Argentina on the other side, but chose not to pay the Visa fees to get there. We're now waiting to board our flight to Rio for our next adventure, celebrating New Years on Copacobana beach.
