Off to Virginia to see 2/3 of my children, down to Florida to get my wheeled toys and to see Jenny get married. Then home with all the rest of my stuff.
There will be few side adventures and little leisure time on this trip. I have an agenda. Plus, traveling alone with the dogs is limiting. I'll try to post every day so if you want to know where the heck I am, you can find me. :)
The picture for this blog is my beautiful backyard, to remind me of (new) home.
This is long trip, probably five weeks. It's amazing what I think I need. I traveled around the entire world in 41 days with a single suitcase that weighed 40 lbs. For this trip I can't decide how many of those mac-and-cheese boxes I should take and whether four computers will suffice or if I should take the desktop, too. And wardrobe? I have a whole closet I can fill! And three cupboards. And a bathroom cabinet.
Loaded up to the best of my thinking ability (no desktop, but taking the Drobo), I'll run around to do a few last things here at the house, hitch up and go this morning. Goal: Gallup, NM where there is a lovely campground and I've already spoken to them, they have space for me.
Know what I did not ask? Whether they had pull-thru sites. If I need to back into a site I'm just going to do it.
