Weekend in isolation

Arctic Circle, Nordland, Norway
I suppose it is quite selfish of me to spend so much time setting up Christmas decor that no one will see except me. I haven't put a single thing out front - not a light, not a nutcracker. And I may not.
I did not lay this out the way my Aunt does.
I do not have the train. I may one day get a train but for now, honestly I couldn't fit it anyway.
I don't have the small bits and bobs - trees, little people, dogs, horses. All kinds of stuff. I want to create little scenarios but I haven't got it organized to do so.
And of course I will set up Emme's dog show!
I'm missing the power cord for the choir singers, near the front. And a few things need glueing. I'll get to that. But here's where I am - and yes, I will take a picture once it's dark out, too, now that I've got everything lit up.
Amazingly there wasn't a single thing that didn't light up or play music or start spinning. The only issue is the mainstream sled - I had to put the horse in the sled with the people until I can get him fixed back on to the track. But sheesh, horses should get a break too. This is pictured because, well, it's hilarious.

Looks like you are doing a great job! It's yours so you can stage it any way you want.
